This disc Nordavinden (dNordavinden?) was a design exercise Rawland conducted about two years ago, well before production disc cyclocross and road started to pop up. Although not exactly a lightweight at around 22 pounds, the dNordavinden was a joy to ride, on both 700c and 650b wheels (it took about ten seconds to swap between these configurations). Fwiw, the dNordavinden rode even better after the fork was re-raked for a lower trail. Being a prototype, the unsightly steerer was left uncut for future use and reference. This whole project was shelved after I was talked out of bringing it to production because the concept was deemed too radical at the time.
